    1. Request received that the official’s associations of the Maritime provinces send a representative to the AUS Management Meeting
    2. Letter of condolence sent to Gary Balcom along with donations from the Board and individuals for the Scholarship Fund in honour of his daughter. 

 

  1. Presentation of Reports – submit to Paul Hanson to be posted on website but can be given orally if necessary.  These include:  President, VP, Provincial Supervisor, Provincial Interpreter, Secretary/Treasurer, AUS Men,s Commissioner, AUS Women’s Commissioner, ACAA Commissioner,  Area Supervisors.

 

  1. Matters Arising from the minutes

 

a)  Wheelchair Update – Keith Finck

b)  Constitution and Rules/Regulations update - changes while approved are still pending to be posted on the website.  These include changing the name and responsibilities to reflect that the AUS Selection Committee is now the AUS/ACAA Selection Committee and that the National Selection Committee is utilized to determine Nova Scotian candidates to be considered for their FIBA license.  

c)  Any additional updates in regards to FIBA rules – Roger Caulfield

d)  Approval of Rule Modifications for the use of consistent minor basketball rules across the province as negotiated by Rules Committee on which our Interpreter was the NSBO representative. -  Roger Caulfield  

e)  Pre-National Tournament Review – Greg Parsons

f)  Meeting between President, Provincial Supervisor and Executive Director of the NSSAF. – Greg Parsons/Reg Caulfield 

 

 

 

7.  New Business

 

a)  Caulfield Camp of Excellence and FIBA clinics – noted thank you to Roger and need to encourage those who wish to advance to continue to take advantage of such opportunities. – Greg Parsons
