NSBO REPORT 2010-2011
SOUTH SHORE
Our season began with a fall clinic with Roger. It was well attended and we enjoyed the session. We had 22 members register which is up from the 21 who registered in 2009-2010. Four new officials attended our clinic presented by Darren Dahl over three evenings.
The number of assignments were up by 25% from 2009-2010 .
Reg Jewkes came down to do 7 evaluations which was greatly appreciated by all of the officials. As usual , Reg was very positive and his evaluations were constructive. Our members have asked to have Reg back next year .
Dave Winaut did a great job as our assignor. Our members were very pleased with his assigning and hope he will be willing to continue this coming season.
Ted Veinot and Darren Dahl have replaced Barry Crozier as our local evaluator . Barry did a fantastic job and has been very positive and professional in carrying out this important position.Thank you Barry!
Seven of our members were chosen to officiate at Provincials this year and received positive evaluations.
We concluded the season with a meeting/social in May to reflect on the past season and to get feed back from the members . We discussed our strengths and weaknesses and how we can improve as individuals and as an association.
It was agreed, we had to approach young adults in the area who we feel would be interested in becoming active officials and bring them to our fall clinic.
I look forward to working with our members and the Provincial Executive this coming season.
